Chicken necks?

So we're on to the wild world of table food.  apparently Miles likes to scarf down roast beef and chicken sandwiches at daycare.  followed by cucumbers, fruit cups, cookies and pudding.

i suppose it's time i actually start making him dinner, then.
So far we've enjoyed chicken fingers, carrots, green beans, and fried eggs.  Today he actually had some penne alfredo!  he won't let me spoon feed him any more, because he's a "big boy" and can feed himself.

We also took a trip to the Zoo!  And apparently everyone else in the Hoosier state decided to go to the zoo as well that day.  But we enjoyed looking at the animals and even got to see an elephant demonstration.
but the best part of the Zoo was the Dippin Dots.  At first Miles didn't know what to make of the flash frozen dots of ice cream.  but that didn't matter.  all that mattered was that he got more of it.

I made the mistake of getting Mike some 31 Flavors at the Greece Town Mall when he was that age....after that I couldn't even pass the place without shouts for ice cream!

Yay for Miles becoming a big boy!

I love the look on Miles face in that last picture..."I wouldn't mind some more of those things if you're trying to get rid of them. Really, it's no bother at all."

What a cute little guy you've got there...

Looks like he doesn't mind the spoon too much... as long as there's ICE CREAM on it.

smart kid.
